Posting Elaborate Fanfictions in A nutshell.

Description

The above pic contains almost no effort at all because apparently that is what it takes to be popular. Have you like me ever noticed that the more time and effort you put into a FanFic the less popular it becomes when you upload it? I have. (Also while I know this is posted in the Devious Fun/other category I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it for if I were to put it in scraps it wouldn't have the desired impact and there really should be a PSA category.)

Ok It might be because I don't upload very often, OH HOW THE MOST PLAUSABLE clichés  STING MORE THAN THE OTHERS!! I know that it also has too do with content and indeed as I am complaining about how long it is as people in their daily live might not have enough time to read it, well if you have been paying attention to my Journals LIKE YOU SHOULD :iconzombiecancerplz:  then you will know that I already uploaded a journal with a link to a solution to that iwasatennagedilbert.deviantart… hey even if it is a somewhat flawed one it's better than nothing.

I have seen this happen time and time again every time I upload a Fanfic. I keep getting told by some close Internet friends that they are good, but I have to ask again, "If they are so good, why does nobody fave or comment on them?" (even the people who say they are good sometimes forget to do so.)

It may indeed sound like the words of an overgrown spoiled brat, but consider this (if you have yet to figure it out yet), See on artist websites like DA & FA, Views Comments and Faves are the only indicators we have as to how popular our work is. So even if it's the original piece all the praise in the world means nothing if those indicators are not present... think about that. It creates a false impression upon the artist that their work is terrible when it might just actually be very good.

So yeah if you notice the 3rd panel here you realize that I hate Khporia pics, GoAnimate animations, and comics made with the Bitstrips engine. Why you ask? Most of my reasons can be found here www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3Pjgs… and also on top of all they require absolutely no effort to make their bland pieces of garbage. And yet for :iconegoraptorplz: SOME REASON they are everywhere and bask in moderate popularity.

Finally, THIS IS NOT A RANT AGAINST MEMES GARRY'S MOD PICS OR MINECRAFT STRUCTURES. I like those because unlike the 3 things I listed above countless things that became memes were usually not intended for mass production and if want to make one you have to find individual bits and pieces to put into the meme some origin and responses are even drawn by hand, and I don't need to tell you that Gmod is hard to use, and Minecraft even with creative mode takes a lot of time to build structures, all that screams effort. Where as with the 3 things above everything is given to you and you don't need to do anything other than drag & Drop. Ugh! :iconfacepalmplz:

I hope that covers everything now if you excuse me I have to brace myself for the imminent death threats I'll get from posting this.

I have the exact same experience with GMOD comic.

I spent nearly two months making my newest issue of my comic. person23423.deviantart.com/art…

It has been a day since I first uploaded it, I got a total of two comments and two favorite. Yet, some half hearted, zero effort screenshots like this

www.deviantart.com/art/I-m-bac…

gets like 29 comments and 5 favourites.

I am starting to feel that people will only view, comment, and favourite works by people within their own clique.

I am not being bitter about my work getting no recognitions. Other people whose works I found to be impressive are experiencing the same problem.
